Everything about Newbreak is fantastic! The owner (Norma) was there and greets all the customers. The lunch was great and we look forward to coming back soon.

Stumbled upon this while waiting for my room visiting San Diego. The food was outstanding on a service was as well! Highly recommend it

Right next to Ocean Beach Pier beautiful scenery. Great food and coffee. My coworkers and I come here often and we love it. Tables and furniture could use some updates but work perfectly fine for the amount of people I see on average. Good selection of food, pastries and even options for vegans! One of my favorite places for breakfast, I usually get the rice bowl with the egg over medium on top. Throw a little hot sauce on it ...bam. "broke da mouth." Overall 8.9/10

This cafe has a nice cozy vibe. Friends playing chess, people working, and reading books. The staff knows the regulars and treats them like family. Not a fancy cafe but feels like a small town vibe with eclectic people. Great food too.

Super good place I’ve been coming to for years when I’m in the area. Coffee is good and a wonderful selection of teas - half a wall of fascinating types to choose from. The hot chocolate is great. Super friendly baristas - both to regulars in the community and strangers like me. Feels like a good snapshot of the OB community if you’re visiting from outside.

Beautiful views of the beach!! This was our first time eating here. On Tuesday's they have a medium drip coffee and bagel of your choice for 4.95 and it was the best bagel I’ve ever had (jalapeno bagel with jalapeno cream cheese:)) service was amazing and the vibe was all positivity we are so glad we came here. Thank guys!!

This is such a cool spot! The coffee shop has lots of seating and a total neighborhood vibe. Locals come in and are greeted with a beautiful level of familiarity, so warm. As a visitor, I felt equally important to the staff. I went on 2 different days. Coffee is delicious. I had an open face breakfast bagel one day and the Jesuit Napoleon on another, both delicious. Lots of great tables to work out. Laid back easy going feel with fast service. Highly recommend!

What lovely people here, love this place. My favorite sandwich in the world is "Point Loma" I think. Pulled pork, feta, pickled jalapenos, red onion on ciabatta, damn that's good. I'm coming this week, hopefully I'm lucky enough and they have it on the menu again. Please, please
